Want to sell used laptop? Sell second hand laptop to tradelectronics Sydney for cash! Dell Alienware’s game laptop has always been impressive as thick and heavy, but this situation is about to change. Dell’s latest Alienware M15 (AW M15) is 17% thinner and 30% smaller than the current 15 inch Alienware laptop. Game laptops are bulky and hot, and the new generation of CPUs and GPUs make it possible for lighter, high-performance laptops. Its new Alienware M15 is the brand’s thinnest game notebook ever.
The thinnest part of the design is 17.9mm thick, M15 is between the absolute thinnest and lightest design, hovering around 0.83 inch thick, M15 is between the absolute thinnest and lightest design, hovering around 17.8mm, and the old version of Alienware 15 R3 is about 25mm thick. The display cover has also become thinner. The tapered trailing edge and the chase vent clearly show that the Alienware M15 is a game laptop. The Alienware M15 has only one optional processor – the six core Intel Core i7-8750h uses Intel’s turbo boost technology, with a frequency speed of up to 4.1ghz. Memory options include 8GB, 16GB or 32GB, and Dell offers no less than 10 storage options, ranging from a single 256gb SSD to a dual drive configuration with two 1TB PCI Express m.2 SSDs.
In addition to the body, one of the best parts about the physical design of the Alienware M15 is that the port selection is distributed on three sides of the laptop base, rather than clustered on the left and right edges. Later, you will find the HDMI 2.0 output, usb-c connector with thunderbolt 3, mini DisplayPort 1.3 connector, power port, and even the dedicated port (egpu) connected to the Alienware external GPU. On the left, there is a noble style physical locking port, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, an audio output connector and a USB 3.0 port. There are also two USB 3.0 ports on the right edge. The ports are very rich. What’s particularly good is that you can connect the monitor, the egpu and the power cord without protruding anything from either side of the laptop. Thanks to the 1.5mm key range, the keyboard feels very comfortable when typing. It also comes with a keypad, which has a beautiful feature many gamers will like: RGB backlight.
As the thinnest and lightest notebook in Alienware, M15 makes a good first impression.
