The newly launched XPS 152-in-1 is also the first notebook to use Intel Core CPU + AMD Radeon GPU + display memory “packaged” chipset. As a result, XPS 152-in-1 is indeed slimmer than many of its 15-inch competitors. It has only a 16mm thick fuselage that is thinner than the products from HP, Lenovo and Asus. Compared with its “ordinary” version of XPS 15, it also has a slight advantage of 1mm.
According to Intel, the packaging chipset for XPS 152-in-1 (which uses Gore’s insulation like the new XPS 13) should provide a performance experience close to that of a stand-alone graphics card. As for the display, the notebook is routinely equipped with the iconic Infinity Edge screen of the XPS series.
It has the highest resolution of 4K and 100% Adobe RGB gamut. Dell Cinema is also supported to achieve better HDR video playback, stereo surround and streaming delay prevention. In terms of visual perception, the screen of XPS 152-in-1 is beautiful and clear, and the visual impact brought by the narrow border is unparalleled. It’s worth mentioning that Dell also has a 4,096-level pressure-sensitive Active Pen stylus for this notebook.
